About the position:

This position offers the opportunity to help manage a multi-billion dollar leveraged and corporate finance portfolio. You will work closely with our sponsor coverage teams, relationship bankers, risk management and our portfolio analytics team. The position requires a self-starter who is able to take the initiative to guide projects independently, and who is willing to operate at various levelsof seniority in different situations.

About the department:

Leveraged and Structured Corporate Finance PM is part of a global portfolio management platform and a pillar of ING s capital optimization strategy. The team is considered experts on the individual borrowers and relevant industry subject matter

Responsibilities:

You will support the senior bankers with all aspects of managing a large portfolio of senior secured loans to sub-investment grade clients.

• deal team in preparation of borrower analytics including financial updates, financial modeling, credit approval packages, market comparables and quarterly reporting statements.
• portfolio management responsibility for a group of selected accounts monitoringand tracking credit performance, executing amendment requests, maintaining collateral files, etc. Identifynew business opportunities with existing clients.
• key role in handlinginternal system processing and KYC/CDD data gathering and processing.
• legal documentation and assist deal team in the timely closing and funding of waivers, amendments and upsized commitments.
• Sectors, financial sponsor originations, Risk Management, Compliance and Loan Operations teams.

Qualifications and Competencies

• hold a Bachelor s Degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting/Mathematics with excellent results. An advanced degree and/or a CFA is a plus.
• have previously received credit trainingand have a solid understanding of debt products
• of 1 year of corporate banking experience considered for Analyst
• credit training is a plus
• understanding of accounting statements & principles
• finance background financial marketexperience is necessary
• structuring
• understanding of legal documentation
• spreadsheets: three statement financial modelingskills are a must

• possess strongcommunication skills writing samplerequired
• have strongcredit skills understand how to properlyanalyze risk
• are highly detailed in your work
• are self-motivated and willing to work in a deal oriented and deadline drivenenvironment
• are able to manageand prioritize competing demands
• desire to work in a collaborative manner in contribution of team objectives

Salary Range: $105,000-$115,000
