You will work regularly with the founders to develop Vise's AI vision and lead a team of engineers to execute on that vision. What You Will Own
- The technical direction of AI products at Vise.
- Architect and primary owner of Vise's AI infrastructure
- Thoughtfully build and scale the Vise AI team by hiring and retaining exceptional talent.
- Developing Vise's AI strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the CEO and broader team.
What You Bring on Day One
- 5+ years of software development experience outside of education and internships
- Experience designing and deploying distributed systems.
- Able and willing to simultaneously manage and execute.
- Comfort with backend and frontend languages. Our stack includes Python, Golang, TypeScript, so direct experience working with these is a big plus.
- A deep curiosity for AI. You don't need to have technical experience with large language models, but you should have a sophisticated understanding of the theory and be comfortable experimenting with them.
- Interest in FinTech and/or wealth management.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

Through the internal and market data Vise has collected, we expect the salary range for this position to be $200,000 - $280,000 per year, plus a competitive equity package.
