We are seeking a driven Engineering Lead to join our founding team and help shape the future of legal AI.

As senior lawyers with deep connections to major law firms and their clients, we have a unique understanding of the industry's pain points and are well-positioned to drive widespread adoption.

Who we are looking for: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead with a passion for AI and a track record of building innovative software solutions. You will work closely with our founding team of senior lawyers and top-tier advisors to develop our AI platform. We are all great to work with and have a blast together! We have already built an MVP and are now transitioning to more advanced AI technology, with plans to eventually develop our own proprietary language model.

Our current Engineering Lead had an unfortunate family tragedy and will not be able to continue full time with the project.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, driving the development of our unparalleled legal AI platform.
• Collaborate with the founding team to define and implement a product roadmap that sets a new standard for the industry.
• Architect and oversee the development of our AI models, including the transition to our own proprietary language model.
• Ensure the highest standards of data protection, security, and compliance, working closely with our trusted compliance partner.
• Build and nurture a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Contribute to strategic decision-making as a key member of our founding team.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of technical leadership and success in building groundbreaking AI-powered software solutions.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies, including natural language processing and large language models.
• Strong software engineering skills and experience with modern development practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Passion for legal technology and drive to create the industry's leading AI solution.
