Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Water Resources EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:Work under project engineers on the application of various design engineering and modeling techniques in the development of water resource projects for federal, state and local municipalitieFocus on hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection, assimilation, and presentationFocus on projects including flood control, river design, stream grade control structures, dike systems, levees, stream channel restoration/rehabilitation, wetland and lake restoration, watershed issues and non-point source loading and point source designProduce design calculations, draft technical reports and perform water resources studiePerform other duties as needed#LI-ES3QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related fieldExperienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling softwareSelf-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of taskAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustPreferred QualificationsEIT certificationWhy HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also about what you do and how you do it.
