Job DescriptionInGenesis is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to work with our client in Rochester, NY. In this role, you will be working in the NYS Office of Aging and Long-term Care regional office.Apply today and we'llreach out to answer any questions you may have!Job DutiesAnswer and distribute phone calls to appropriate areasInput and retrieve information within multiple computer programs including ASPEN Central Office (ACO) and ASPEN Complaint Tracking System (ACTS)Format and prepare a variety of correspondence, reports, proposals and other written material.Open, log and distribute mail dailyRespond to program general questions and redirects callers as necessarySchedule meetings and conference callsPerform basic office support duties such as: photocopying; scanning; faxing; assembling informational packets; filing; distributing information; and assist with conferences and other events as requestedPerform minor document editing and proofreadingSet up and maintains project-related hard copy and electronic files including database input and updatesLiaison between IT and Nursing Home Complaint Program related to reporting issuesAssists with Nursing Home Surveillance Regional OfficesMinimum QualificationsExcellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and ExcelAbility to work on a team and handle multiple, shifting prioritiesGood organizational skillsAbility to correspond with the public, healthcare professionals as well as other agenciesFamiliarity working in electronic databases including previous experience working with the Automated Survey Processing System (ASPEN).Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. Previous work experience in healthcare and/or business office and the ability to quickly adapt to the Long-Term Care computer programs is preferred*Pay rate range commensurate on experience.
