Job Description: The School of Professional Studies at SUNY Old Westbury regularly seeks to hire adjunct instructors to teach courses as needed in the department. The department offers Bachelor's degrees in Professional Studies and General Studies, a minor in Entertainment and SportsManagement, and Microcredentials in Nonprofit Management and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice. The Professional Studies major is firmly grounded in workplace skills with applied learning outcomes. Completing the requirements for a Bachelor's degree in Professional Studies ensures that students have been given a deep understanding of the major functional areas within a formal organizational structure. Candidates for adjunct positions should have a record of high-quality teaching.We are seeking applicants who can teach the following courses:
  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice
  • Nonprofit Management
  • Entertainment and Sports
  • Communications
