**Adjunct Faculty in Data Science (Non-Tenure Track)**
The NYU Center for Data Science (CDS) seeks to fill an Adjunct Faculty position in Data Science at its Washington Square campus. The position is for one (1) semester in spring 2022 to teach one (1) four-credit undergraduate course, DS-UA 301: Advanced Topics in Data Science, which is the final data science course in our data science major.
The course may cover any topic that is sufficiently advanced (i.e., would be challenging but doable for an undergraduate student who has completed three years of undergraduate coursework in data science, mathematics, and computer science). The instructor may propose their own course based on their teaching interests and expertise. Previous and plausible topics include, but are not limited to: Natural language processing, reinforcement learning, computer vision, data visualization, neural networks, and time series.
Spring 2022 semester starts on January 24, 2022 and ends on May 18, 2022.
Ph.D. in data science or a related field.
