** Description**
NYU Steinhardt Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions(MPAP) Music Business seeks qualified candidates to co-teach New Student Seminar and assume related academic advisement duties for undergraduate students in Fall 2021. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and networking skills, and be highly responsive and able to prioritize tasks independently. This position works with a diverse student population. Must be proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft applications. Knowledge of subjects related to music and experience working in an academic setting a plus.
** Qualifications**
* Bachelor's Degree
* Experience advising or providing mentorship or counseling to students at the college level, project planning, and knowledge of NYU systems including SIS/Albert is preferred
