Summary of Responsibilities: The Acquisitions Associate supports the Acquisitions Team by performing financial analyses of prospective and existing investments, market research, and acquisition due diligence. The Acquisitions Associate updates internal valuation and projection models for existing investments, reviews and analyzes financial performance of existing investments, prepares investment memoranda and presentation materials, and maintains a current deal pipeline database. This position performs detailed market research to include supply/demand fundamentals, economic trends, and comparable sales and lease transactions; creates and evaluates financial analyses of prospective investments; assists the deal team with acquisition due diligence to include the review of leases, contracts, and historical operating statements; and performs other duties as assigned. Summary of Requirements: Ideal candidates for the Acquisitions Associate position hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in the field of Finance, Economics or Real Estate. The Acquisition Associate's experience should include a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in the real estate investment sector with a good knowledge and understanding of commercial leases and familiarity with operations of various property types. This position requires excellent real estate financial modeling skills; and proficient ARGUS (DCF and Enterprise) and Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. Effective analytical, research, organizational, follow-through, communication (written and verbal) and professional presentation skills are required. This position requires the successful ability to perform both independently and as a team member within an entrepreneurial environment with a high attentiveness to detail. Compensation & Benefits:
