The points below highlight the Account Representative Ocean Export duties:

Coordinating and executing shipments to ensure excellent customer service levels

Prepares all necessary documents such as commercial invoices, international export declarations, certificate of origin, letters of credit

Reviews pertinent domestic and foreign trade regulations

Maintain communication with customers, carriers, government agents, and vendors

Incredible work ethic

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency

Minimum 3 years relevant experience in the importation of goods or an equivalent combination of both education and experience

Knowledge of the movement of freight via air and/or ocean and Letters of Credit preferred

Ability to occasionally life and/or move up to 25 pounds
