Accounts Receivable Supervisor
Our client located in White Plains, NY is a non-profit organization that has been supporting its community for over 80 years providing a variety of services to help its residents develop job skills, support mental health, and treat all with compassion! They are currently seeking an AR Supervisor who will be responsible for planning and implementing the daily, weekly, and monthly activity related to the overall billing process. This function includes billing, reviewing, and collections for the agency.What makes this opportunity great?

Responsibilities:
- Supervise billing processes including claims editing, transmission, and verification.
- Analyze financial reports for discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
- Manage support functions to meet collection goals.
- Oversee rate updates and billing system entries.
- Investigate and resolve non-payment accounts.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for billing activities.
- Identify and report problem accounts to prevent revenue loss.
- Maintain accurate records and files.
- Generate and present receivables reports.
- Ensure accuracy in journal entries and reconciliations.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office.
- Expertise in Medicaid, Commercial, and Managed Care billing.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to train team members effectively.
- Capacity to work for extended periods while seated.
