We are looking to hire a seasoned tech-savvy Accounts Receivable Manager who, working with our Controller, will manage the AR department workflow and team and champion a more efficient receivables process to help us scale and grow the company. Qualified candidates should have experience in a high volume credit card receivables environment and be keen to improve and streamline processes.

**Responsibilities:**

* Lead the day-to-day operations of the AR team to complete all aspects of the receivables workflow in a high-volume environment including coaching and cross-training of staff. Please note all company sales are performed electronically and there is no associated collection function with the role.

* Daily supervision of multi-person team, timely and accurate posting of cash in accounting system.

* Responsible for accurate and timely completion of AR month-end and year-end closing process with ability to adjust to hard cutoffs around the close deadlines.

* Ability to perform various reconciliations and continuously reviewing the companys AR information to identify and resolve inaccuracies.

* Ownership of the AR balances in the financial statements and ability to provide requested reports and analyses in an accurate and timely manner.

* Identifying process improvements with current workflow and help automate any manual accounting or analysis with accounting software to perform and optimize AR workflow.

* Be eager and able to adopt and implement new procedures to drive efficiency in the AR process.

* Recommend optimization opportunities to the Finance Team as they relate to the accounts receivable process and ongoing training and development of Staff.

**Skills/Qualifications:**

* College degree plus 4+ years of experience managing the Accounts Receivable/Revenue Department

* Experience in a high volume retail or similar business, E-commerce experience highly preferred

* Must have strong credit card receivables experience and experience with other digital payment systems (e.g. Paypal, Klarna, etc.)

* Strong experience in chargebacks and fraud prevention.

* Must have a full understanding of the revenue cycle and will take a proactive, hands-on approach.

* Excellent organizational and project management skills

* Must have a sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines and analyze a high volume of receivable activities.

* Superior communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels, from supervisors to associates

* Work as a team player and ability to successfully work in a large group environment

* Experience with Sage Intacct Netsuite or similar SaaS accounting system preferred.

* Strong MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, Vlookups, etc) preferred.
