Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately apply cash payments to donor accounts
- Conduct donor communications, including contacting them regarding contributions
- Maintain knowledge of financial processes and procedures
- Utilize software systems and Excel for financial data management and analysis
- Handle donor inquiries professionally and courteously
- Assist with various financial projects and tasks as needed
- Prepare and distribute statements to donors in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
- Experience in cash application and/or donor relations beneficial
- Proficiency in software systems and Microsoft Excel (including V-lookup, Pivot Tables, Sum-if formulas)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the non-profit environment
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
