A reputable organization is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join their team! Small, fast paced office setting in the construction industry! What you need to know
- This is a Temp to Hire Position!
- Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
- Location: Albany, NY
- Pay: $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
What to expect out of the Accounts Payable Administrator position:
- Provide administrative support to Management team
- Enter purchase orders and A/P invoices into internal system
- Generating reports and detailing accounts payable status through the companys accounting system
On a typical day, you might
- Summarize manual tickets for billing and inventory
- Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, monitoring shared email accounts, and handling routine correspondence
- Generating reports and assisting with any discrepancies surrounding accounts payable
- Coordinate and communicate accounting-related matters with staff within the organization
- Assist the Account Payable Manager with day to day operations of the department
This role might be for you if you:
- 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience is required
- 3 years of Admin experience is preferred
- Have experience as an accounts payable team member or general accountant.
- Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Word & Excel
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities
- Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Have the ability to work independently or in a team environment
