Role: Accounts Payable Manager Location: New York, NY Pay Rate Range: $100000 - $120000 / YearInternal Job ID: 10013557 Property Management company in NYC looking for a AP Manager to start ASAP Job Responsibilities:
  • Direct and perform MRI, Yardi and Workday Accounts Payable cycle activities, including but not limited to month end close, security deposit refunds, vendor maintenance, ACH oversight.
  • Actively supervise and motivate a team of up to 2 people administering all payables functions and a recurring checklist of deliverables monitored for completion.
  • Support Manager in recurring functions while participating in cross functional projects, including on/offboarding portfolios, platform upgrades, process changes with business partners, and system conversions.
  • Own the vendor payment cycle, including monitoring of invoice flow, communicating with business partners on aged invoices and resolving vendor inquiries.
  • Collaborate with business partners and external providers on multiple activities, including automation of business processes, workflow roles and responsibilities on new/legacy products, and audit requests for the financial and tax commission reporting.
  • Cross-train team members to leverage systems functionality supported by documented SOPs to facilitate learning and execution of team responsibilities.
Requirements: Experience in the multifamily residential industry with AP and leadership experience 5-10 years of established work experience in Accounts Payable in supervisory capacity Advanced financial operations knowledge of MRI, Yardi, Workday accounting software Demonstrated supervisory ability with growing leadership capacity to strengthen and guide the team to enhanced performance levels. Focused on building relationships to achieve shared goals and build rapport with our vendors, internal business partners and team members. Experienced and proficient with Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) with strong analytical ability to collect and use information to solve complicated problems. Approach work areas with creative solutions to leverage technology and rationalize legacy manual processes to utilize team members for value-add activities. Advanced verbal and written communication skills with proven time management and organizational skills in a dynamic environment Current hybrid work schedule with occasional overtime as approved for work deliverables.
