Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager will include:
- Overseeing accounting department, ensuring all timelines are met and providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure timely and complete reconciliations, provide suggestions for improvement in this area
- Manage audit process
- Manage grants and funding sources, prepare financial reports as needed
- Ad hoc projects as delegated by Controller
Qualifications of the Accounting Manager should include:
- Minimum 4 years of experience, nonprofit industry a must
- Intermediate Excel including v lookups and pivot tables a plus
- Experience working with an accounting system such as Intacct, Financial Baud, FundEZ or others
