Title: Account Manager
Location: New York - Hybrid
We're on the lookout for a professional in advertising sales, specifically within the clinical domain, to join a global publishing company in the heart of New York. We're seeking an individual with a proactive approach, someone eager to advance their career in marketing/advertising sales. This role involves facilitating clients expansion by offering tailored advertising solutions.
As a key member of the team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving advertising sales revenue. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll collaborate closely with the clinical sales team to promote advertising solutions across our extensive range of top-tier scientific and medical publications, utilizing consultative sales strategies and solution-oriented approaches. Your focus will be on establishing and nurturing robust sales networks, engaging directly with specialized pharmaceutical and healthcare agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand client networks to grasp their organizational structures and objectives
- Cultivate relationships with clients and their senior executives to enhance expenditure
- Provide consultative support to clients, understanding their requirements to facilitate organic revenue growth
- Identify, cultivate, and present marketing prospects to both new and existing accounts
- Negotiate, refine, and finalize advertising solutions
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to support sales targets
- Interpret and communicate market insights to enhance client engagement and product development
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery to our clients
- Maintain CRM databases and other systems, generating reports as needed
- Additional tasks as assigned
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in advertising sales, with a track record of success in online and content solutions sales
- Proven ability to drive sales across a diverse portfolio, catering to various client needs
- Results-driven, competitive, with a knack for quickly assimilating information
- Effective communicator capable of engaging with multiple functional groups
- Experience in liaising with both internal teams and external clients
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
- Sharp analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues
- Proficiency in Salesforce, G Suite, and MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Willingness to travel when required
