As a remote-first company, we embrace flexible work arrangements that empower our team to collaborate effectively from anywhere in the world.As an Account Director, you will serve as a trusted marketing advisor, overseeing the strategic planning and execution of our clients' marketing initiatives. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, guiding discussions, offering proactive advice, and ensuring the seamless delivery of services. This role demands a deep understanding of digital marketing, strong leadership skills, and the ability to navigate the complexities of B2B marketing.Our client projects typically include:- Website design, user experience, and web development- Content, content, and more content!- Paid digital marketing campaigns on Linkedin, Google Ads, and programmatic platforms- Social media strategy development and execution- Marketing automation implementation and execution, specifically in HubSpot- Killer design and branding projects- The wizardry that is SEOYou will play an integral role in maintaining our client relationships by providing strategic oversight for your portfolio of accounts. You are expected to interface with clients on a regular basis as a strategic resource for them, discussing the following:- Trends and insights in digital marketing and lead generation - Creative growth strategies- Goals ... KPIs, ROI, PPC, FTP (gotcha!)- Evaluation of emerging technologiesThe Account Director's role is to ensure overall success of our engagements. You'll do this through:
    • Client Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a strategic partner and advisor.
    • Understand the unique needs and challenges of clients in industries such as cyber security, fintech, regtech, and SaaS.
    • Provide proactive guidance on marketing strategies, leveraging industry knowledge and best practices.
    • Respond to client inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely manner, demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer service.
    • Proactively communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress, address any issues, and gather feedback.
    • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Lead the development of comprehensive marketing plans tailored to each client's objectives.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of marketing campaigns across various channels.
    • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide strategic recommendations for optimization.
    • Team Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Ensure effective communication and coordination between internal teams to deliver high-quality results for clients.
    • Uphold agency standards of excellence in client service and project delivery.
    • Business Development Support:
    • Participate in business development efforts, including discovery calls and strategic proposal development.
    • Contribute to the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment of expectations.
    • Grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling:
    • Collaborate with service directors and executive leadership of Beacon Digital Marketing to identify opportunities for expanding services and offerings to existing clients.
    • Develop strategic plans to upsell additional services and cross-sell complementary solutions, aligning with clients' evolving needs and objectives.
    • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of upselling and cross-selling initiatives.

Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing or a related field.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on client services at an agency.
    • Demonstrable expertise in leading and managing SEO/SEM, email, social media, and advertising campaigns.
    • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting data to drive strategic decisions.
    • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, as well as CRM integrations.
    • Proven track record of success in client retention and revenue growth.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in digital marketing.
    • Experience in the cyber security, fintech, regtech, and SaaS industries is highly valued.
    • Familiarity with ClickUp, our project management tool, is required.
