POSITION PROFILE.

Current Global is seeking an Account Director, Client Experience with expertise working with sporting franchises/organizations, as well as blue chip lifestyle brands. This personwill be responsible for managing teams across several brands,collaborating with Current sInsights,Content, and IntegratedMedia teams to develop and execute strategic and creative clientwork. TheAccount Directorwillhelpleadworkfrom concept to execution,be a primary client contact. Theideal candidatemust have strong written and oral communications skills and beable to creatively formulatecorporate andbrandcampaigns and narratives that resonate in today s marketing environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Own responsibilities for executional leadership of multiple client programs, budgets, plans.
  • Maintain daily client contact, serving as a trusted resource and advisor.
  • Facilitate cross-functional team integration (strategy, creative, integrated media specialists).
  • Translate strategies into tactical plans; ensure team deliverables align with strategies.
  • Develop messaging for clients and oversee the creation of media strategies that take an integrated approach to driving awareness with target audiences.
  • Proactively support and suggest improvements and new ideas to exceed client expectations by leveraging industry knowledge and experience.
  • Manage ongoing team resourcing/staffing to ensure successful delivery of work product.
  • Contribute to the career growth of junior team members, serving as mentor and role model.
  • Actively participate in agency development and assist with new business.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen in the areas of budgeting, billing and staffing.

QUALIFICATIONS.

  • 7-9 years of sports and lifestyle brand communications experience.
  • Network of professional contacts and relationships in the sports industry.
  • Experience leveraging industry relationships to foster strategic partnerships and collaborations with key brands and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in ideating, activating, and executing successful sports partnerships and events.
  • Experienced integrated marketer working across teams and disciplines strategy, planning, analytics, creative, content development, earned media, influencer marketing, organic social, and paid media in a communications agency environment.
  • Understands how to blend earned, influencer, owned, and paid strategies to accelerate ideas across our connected media world.
  • Depth in stakeholder mapping and building programs to reach them in engaging ways.
  • Significant experience providing thought leadership and counsel to senior management.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams; mentoring team members.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail; ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment.

NYC Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee s/applicant s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
