Scope

The Company is a fourth-generation construction company specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of petroleum fuel dispensing and storage systems. The ideal candidate will be familiar with all aspects of Construction, Service, and Environmental Compliance of petroleum fuel systems, with a minimum of 5 years of management experience. The Service Manager will be expected to manage a growing service department specializing in service station/fuel system maintenance, building maintenance and property maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day management of the Service Department, ensuring customer satisfaction and department profitability.
• Accountable for dispatching new work orders to Petroleum Service Technicians.
• Ensure timely completion of service orders and related billing.
• Manage and coordinate field technicians manufacturer training and certifications.
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors.
• Possesses working knowledge of FieldEdge, Gilbarco, Gasboy, and Veeder Root.
• Displays working knowledge of service station equipment and parts by having worked in the field previously.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies for the service division, to include ordering of parts and supplies.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and has a strong desire to take ownership of the department.
• Supervise fieldwork when required.

Qualifications

High School Degree or Equivalent.

Strong knowledge of petroleum equipment, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance procedures.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in service department management.

Valid Drivers License.

Strong business acumen coupled with strong leadership skill.

Proficient with Windows and Microsoft systems.

Technical problem-solving ability and experience.

Must be exceptionally organized.

Must have prior experience with Gilbarco, Veeder Root, Gasboy, and dispatch software.
